A leading American scientist warns today that targets for cutting CO2 have grossly underestimated the scale of the problem and need to be more radical.

1. Bishop HillBut even people who believe in AGW reckon Hansen’s overstating the case. I read somewhere that Real Climate had distanced itself from his remarks too, but I can’t find the reference now.
