Excl: Grant Shapps book on making money from diaries

Liberal Conspiracy has obtained a now-rare ‘How To’ manual co-authored by the Conservative Party chair Grant Shapps, in which he writes about how to make money from your Diary.

As part of the ‘Success Habit Series’, Diary Profits is a free e-book from Michael Green (Grant Shapps’ alter-ego) and Peter Twist.

It is essentially about how to make money using Outlook to manage your time and contacts.

No, it didn’t make much sense to us either.

This is actually an audio-book, but the audio file has been taken off the internet.

We don’t know when the e-book was created either – before or after Grant Shapps became an MP. [Download it from here if you can find out more from the file]

There was plenty of similar material published under the name of ‘Michael Green’ – the Google Cache throws up plenty of links.

But most of those links are broken now and the titles taken down. I wonder why.

On Friday, the Guardian revealed that Grant Shapps posed as web guru at $3,000-a-head Las Vegas conference.
This was also followed up by the Daily Mail yesterday.

Page 5 has: “we’re in the summer of 2006 whilst we’re recording”, and Grant Shapps became an MP in 2005.

So the answer seems to be ‘after’.

Can’t see anything wrong with this whatsoever.

He’s writing e-books under a pseudonym to earn extra cash on the side. Whilst they are clearly terrible pieces of literature, that isn’t a reason to prevent him writing them. Is there are conflict of interest here?

Ahahahaha! I wish I could afford to retain this guy. He could tell me how to be happy: “For a fun evening, why not do something you enjoy? Play games, maybe, or watch a film. Don’t stub your toe, though. You probably wouldn’t enjoy that.”

What, you mean you see no issue with making your fortune by parasitically scamming huge amounts of cash out of people in exchange for worthless bullshit? If the plebs are stupid enough to go around trusting what people tell them then it’s their lookout for being so stupid in the first place, eh?

I appreciate this may be a common view among hardline right wingers, but you may find it’s not so widespread among normal humans.
