Last night, the Republicans unveiled the actor Clint Eastwood as their mystery speaker, opening up the primetime portion of the Republican convention.

What he gave was a hilarious, rambling, mumbling and often incoherent address next to an empty chair that was meant to represent President Obama.

An empty chair? Standards have dropped.
I recall at a few republican meets earlier this year it was quite commonplace for Obama impersonators (who usually looked fuck all like him) to be hired for the express purpose of being beaten in ‘debate’ by passing conference goers. (Upon looking it appears everyone got the idea from Fox News who got one to debate Ron Paul to prove he can beat an actor in a debate)

Seriously? Is this serious? Someone actually thought putting up an 82 year old man on a stage with a chair was likely to further the political debate? So, this is the Republican movements ace up their sleeve, no one had the moral courage to step in and prevent an old man make a complete fuckwit of himself. No one had the common decency to ask Clint to take a back seat. To be honest, looking at the morons lapping this up, I seriously wonder what this ‘special relationship’ with these backward fuckers is all about. Though to be honest, ten years from now (or less) we will have elections won or lost on the same basis, if we relentlessly dumb down to this level. We are expected to send innocent people for extradition to this God forsaken Country. Our ‘best’ ideas are based on failed American policies.

The problem that the Left and Right both have is they seem memorised by America and American politics. Wake up and look at the State of American politics and the total fuck up America has become through this type of shit.
