The key reason why Hunt should resign

They key reason Jeremy Hunt should resign is because he lied to Parliament.

Last year on 3rd March, as News Corp attempted to take over BSkyB, Jeremy Hunt told Parliament:

Today we are publishing all the documents relating to all the meetings… all the submissions we received, all the exchanges between my Department and News Corporation.

People can thereby judge for themselves whether the process has been completely fair, impartial and above board.

But we now know, thanks to James Murdoch’s emails, that this was simply untrue.

Jeremy Hunt lied to MPs about the full extent of the exchange between his department and News Corporation.

Scores of emails, text messages and other meetings were not declared.

Jeremy Hunt should resign.

He should resign out of the principle that to screw up DCMS when all you have to do is watch cricket and talk bollox to arty types takes some doing. Normal people would gain 3 stone and a taste for quality plonk and be able to gibber nonsense about the importance of dressage in a 21st century urban European post feminist environment. Knobhead.

Even last month the Top Fund Raiser for the Tory Party Cruddas said that for a fee you could get a private meeting with David Cameron and a possible change of policy.

So it is crystal clear that Cameron is for sale and many of his colleagues and close associates are doing all the dirty work under David Cameron’s directions.

It is time to take away Cameron’s fire wall Jeremy Hunt and bring David Cameron to account.
