Watch: Jon Stewart rips boycott of Muslim show

An American reality show called American Muslim has attracted controversy in the United States after ‘Florida Family Association’ complained because the show did not depict images of violent fundamentalist Muslims. No, seriously.

And so, the hardware store Lowe’s decided to pull ads from the show. Last night, comedian Jon Stewart covered the whole controversy.

I take it the Florida family association is an affiliate of the American family association and is thus another wing-nut Christian dominionist group that seeks total cultural hegemony along with the likes of Focus on the Family and the Family Research council? (and probably any US group with ‘family’ in its name, if we’re being honest)

Mind you he was happy to enjoy a sing-a-long with “I wish Rushdie was burning’ Cat Stevens.
So we know he loves his frothing Islamist creatures.

People are against this show because it’s a PR Iie about Islam.
The Muslims in it do not adhere to Islamic teachings. they are moderate BECAUSE of that.
They are moderate because they DON’T properly follow Islam…NOT because Islam is in ANY WAY, REMOTELY, moderate!

It’s more PR warfare to paint a false picture of this fascist ideology that destroys EVERYTHING liberal thought is meant to stand for around the globe every second of every day!

Plus it’s a wasted chance to have ACTUAL, PRACTISING, PROPERLY DEVOUT, Muslims take on the prejudice and bigotry in their religion. A chance for devout Muslims to tackle Islamism.
That is the ONLY way to reform this dark ages dwelling idelogy.
THAT is what reform Christianity!

Boycott it! As it’s a waste and a lie.
