Oh dear, didn’t John B’s recent post establish that they actually paid 28%, albeit not to the UK.

Oh dear, didn’t cjcjc’s recent post establish that someone just had a sense of humour failure?

Well it would be funny if the story on which it is based was true.

But it isn’t, as John B has established.

Agree with cjcjc. They’re satirising something that hasn’t happened.

Sunny, look up “scam” in the dictionary. If we’re going to go around telling lies about people we don’t like, there’s not much point having a discussion.

Chaise, the facts aren’t important – you can prove anything with facts. What’s important is what people believe. That’s why the story will continue to be perpetuated.

I look forward to widespread complaints about the UK tax Vodafone has paid on its global profits. After all, there is a little piece in Private Eye about it.

“continue to be perpetuated”?

Bit of redundancy there.
