Watch: Murdoch dodges phone-hacking… on Fox

Rupert Murdoch was last night year interviewed on the Fox Business channel.

Andy Coulson and the News of the World is the first question the interviewer brings up. Murdoch immediately dodges it.

It looks like the interviewer then decided his job wasn’t worth it and immediately moves on. Brilliant journalism from Fox as usual.

Update: Apologies, it turns out the exchange took place after the story first came to light, not recently.

“No problem sir!”

He knows which side his fucking bread is buttered on.

Twat.

Sunny, this is over a year old.

Still sick-making though.

While I have no time for Fox, I think the presenter deserves some points for even attempting to bring it up – and if he isn’t going to answer anything about it, wasting an interview that is meant to be about something else on that would be silly; I’ve heard it attempted on Today here, and it is boring and doesn’t tell us anything.

While the “Mr Chairman” stuff isn’t exactly edifying, “Sir” is par for the course in American news.

Stuart Varney – yes, it’s an oldie, but a goody.

He’s still at Fox News Channel (fair and balanced my arse), pumping out the usual slanted journalism and misinformation. But I reckon Roger Ailes gave him a hell of a bollocking after that interview.

BTW I see Fox are doing their bit to rehabilitate the reputation of Dubya Bush – Brian Kilmeade, the rodent faced one from Fox And Friends, has been golfing with the great man recently. Televisual Hagiography no doubt follows.
