Yup, it’s those guys again. But this time with something that is actually close to the bone.

It’s a shame they don’t mention that a goat got more followers on Facebook than the official Spending Challenge FB group.

hat-tip @BeatriceJBray

Can we replace one of the normal news programmes with these guys? They’re genius.

Not sure how this is any more close to the bone than the Brown agression report for example though. Just a different focus.

“It’s a shame they don’t mention that a goat got more followers on Facebook than the official Spending Challenge FB group.”

Yeah, because Facebook is where all sensible people go to discuss the national debt.

Not sure how this is any more close to the bone than the Brown agression report for example though.

Because the story about Gordon Brown being a paranoid lunatic with violent tendencies was entirely made up by Iain Dale and Paul Stanies. Any subsequent corroborating evidence (in, for example, Mandelson’s memoirs, Mullin’s diaries etc) are part of a vast conspiracy involving the Foreign Office, the Chinese and the Tories.

(in, for example, Mandelson’s memoirs,

Can you explain where Mandelson says Brown was a paranoid lunatic (in the clinical sense, not in the sense that you idiots though he didn’t do things the way you wanted him to).

3 – In the clinical sense? No, of course not – especially given that lunatic hasn’t been a clinical diagnosis for over a century. Just in the colloquial sense that we idiots like to use. It’s the stories about him hurling staplers at people (that’s been documented by, I think, four separate books…), blaming vast bizarre conspiracies between the Tories and the PRC etc etc.

In the words of that noted Tory Chris Mullin:

Rumours of tantrums, harassment of minions, chaotic micro-management and telephone-throwing are true…

‘Maybe,’ someone suggested, ‘he suffers from a mild form of Asperger’s. That would explain the difficulty he has relating.’

Your anger at pseudo-medical diagnoses may be better directed at Brown’s Labour colleagues who have been saying this sort of thing about him for well over a decade.

It’s the stories about him hurling staplers at people

Oh noez! Gordon Brown got angry once, therefore we should chuck him in a mental institution!

I know that Tory bloggers have nothing to say these days given the Coalition is now in power and their popularity is sliding fast – but this really is very desperate and beneath you.

Yeah, because Facebook is where all sensible people go to discuss the national debt.

If only someone told Cameron that before his video-conference with Mark Zuckerberg, eh? We need more people with your hindsight Obnoxio.

6 – I take it you aren’t going to read the Mullin diaries then? They look hilarious.

I know that Tory bloggers have nothing to say these days given the Coalition is now in power and their popularity is sliding fast – but this really is very desperate and beneath you.

Au contraire. The tide of memoirs from the old regime is always the most amusing feature of the new regime. It’s also quite touching how quick you still are to defend Gordon “it’s all a conspiracy between the Foreign Office, the Tories and the Chinese” Brown from any suggestion that he’s a couple of gunmen short of a posse.
