Tim Ireland over-doses on Homeopathic medicine

Yesterday blogger Tim Ireland took part in the 10:23 ‘overdose’ event and shot this footage in Guildford.

He applied the visual effect as a fast way of anonymising staff/bystanders.

The 10:23 event was coordinated by blogger and occasional LC contributor Martin Robbins, who has more here.

Homeopathic medication would be a very effective way of reducing NHS prescription costs.

The headline gave me a bit of a start but now I get it.

I’m not that bothered by Boots selling pointless rubbish – after all, they’ve been selling anti-ageing creams for donkey’s years.
More concerned about Homeopathy on the NHS tbh. Maybe the protest would’ve worked better if done across hospitals up and down the country?

Everyone interested in this should read this Francis Wheen book , it’s a bit bloody brilliant.

@5: Francis Wheen is a barking mad Marxist.

He writes books.

I recommend his works to everyone.

They are impossible to dislike.

If you don’t disagree with his arguments, you should question yourself.

You must read him.

@6

Everything you wrote is quite correct, except that “dis” in the fourth word of your fourth sentence ;)

.@J Alfred Prufrock: Fair cop, Guv.

Better not mention to George Osborne the potential for savings in the payout of state pensions if pensioners being treated by the NHS were put on homeopathic medication.

I hail Francis Wheen. I, furthermore, hail Ophelia Benson & Jeremy Stangroom’s book “Why Truth Matters” if you want more along them lines.
