Anthony Painter has nothing but praise for David Cameron’s stance on workplace bullying…
Can I just say that I categorically agree with the statement on bullying that David Cameron issued to the National Bullying Helpline in September of this year:
“Stamping out bullying in the workplace and elsewhere is a vital objective. Not only can bullying make people’s lives a misery, but it harms business and wider society too.
Now it seems he has a perfect opportunity to put his views into practice…
A News of the World reporter who suffered from a culture of bullying <b>led by former editor Andy Coulson, who is now David Cameron’s head of communications</i>, has been awarded almost £800,000 for unfair dismissal and disability discrimination.
Anthony asks the question…
“Perhaps Mr Cameron could give his reaction and say how he intends to demonstrate his commitment to making workplace bullying a ‘thing of the past’?”

@DaveGorman Perhaps just call me Dave will respond given his earlier views on topic. http://bit.ly/80cP8m
I admire and approve of leftie attempts to build a mythos around Andy Coulson. It will make his job easier in the future.
Maybe Andy Coulson is building his own mythos? It doesn’t seem he needs others to do it for him.
Cameron clearly means action – he took the bully out of that workplace didn’t he?
He now has him bullying tabloid editors at News International and Associated Press – surely you lot of all people approve of that?
Can we do anything about bullying at Lib Con?
No lemmy, shut it you slag!
you hurt my feelings! Only jokes, i don’t have any…
Greetings;
I wish to add my reinforcement to the committment to eradicate bullying in the workplace. I know nothing about Mr. Cameron’s record on this issue since I live in the US, but I know that bullying is a serious problem here, as it apparetly is in other countries. Bullying certainly damages business as Mr. Cameron wrote but it also injures people and contributes to making the workplace a hostile and toxic environment. People subjected to chronic bullying for a significant period of time can become permanently disabled by the harassment and abusive. I write as one with first hand experience having been subjected to bullying for over 2.5 years at a Trinity Health facility in Boise, Idaho, USA and diagnosed with PTSD as a result. If you wish to read more about my experience check under the heading “Workplace Psychological Abuse” on my blog “The Cambium Level’ at http://www.LeonardNolt.blogpsot.com. Thanks for the “Liberal Conspiracy” blog.
