Fox News caught in new fake footage scandal
This week the Daily Show’s Jon Stewart exposed how Fox News re-used footage to exaggerate the number of people attending a Fox promoted anti-healthcare rally.
It is increasingly difficult to find clips of The Daily Show to show in the UK as Comedy Central have stopped clips being shown outsides the US.

Clips might be hard to find but you can watch the whole episodes. They are shown on More4 and, more importantly for this web-savvy generation, they’re available in full on 4oD.
Ha, if only this were a “scandal” in the US. Fox does this kind of thing so often nobody bats an eyelash. Yet if the White House dares to say that Fox “isn’t a legitimate news organisation”, the rest of the US media is horrified and leaps to Fox’s defense. It’s a strange, strange country.
By the way it’s only in the UK that the clips are blocked, in continental Europe you can watch the clips (but not the full episodes). Comedy Central can’t seem to make up their minds about it, as first the clips were blocked in the UK last year, then they unblocked them in April for a few months, and last month they started blocking them again.
Great piece, nice to see FAUX NEWS living up to their terrible standards once again.
Apparently it was an “inadvertant mistake”!
Sure, the editor sIipped on something and the bit of tape in his hand accidentally stuck to the two month old rally footage tape.
I’d buy that for a dollar…
