Tory MP complains after bin Laden gaffe

The story that made me the happiest today was news that David Amess, Conservative MP for Southend West, told staff at Heathrow Airport that Osama Bin Laden had packed his bags for his Virgin Atlantic flight, shortly before throwing up in front of them, and then writing a letter of complaint to them.

Apparently he wasn’t even pissed up, which is lucky since this would constitute irresponsible drinking, an apparent hot potato for our favourite anti-abortion, friend of Israel.

But what, if not booze, made him throw up? Perhaps too much Cake? Video evidence for his dubious paranoia over the subject can be seen here (skip until 02.50).

Here is a picture of Amess in a cake shop in Leigh-on-Sea (via here)

Need I say more?

1. Shatterface

Cake is a powerful bisturbile cranabolic amphetamoid and we should show compassion for it’s addicts rather than treating them as an object of ridicule.

He’s a tit!

What a bizarre story (the links are pretty interesting too). Wonder why the Tory supporting Mail would choose today, the start of the Conservative conference, to run this story when it allegedly happened in 2007.

I’m sort of glad they have – but it’s a little weird.

He’s lucky he didn’t think he had a month to cross the road and end up hit by a car!

Or puke up his own pelvis!

@3 Nils Boray; although it couldn’t be denied in any way, I found the Torygraph’s front splash to be rather scathing of the tories decision to up the pension age today.

@6 binky III; is it gullibility, or hubris?

I like how this tit wants to control women’s bodies and dictate that they carry a foetus to term, but also wants capital punishment back so he can dictate when someone dies.
