Is Brian Coleman AM finished?

Adam at Tory Troll may have dropped a bombshell. He alleges today that: “The London Fire Authority have awarded a £12 million contract to a company that lavished hospitality on it’s Chairman Brian Coleman.”

Through a FOI request he finds that: “The actions of Brian Coleman during a recent Fire Authority meeting were unlawful according to legal papers provided to this blog.” – Coleman is also leader of Barnet Council.

Coleman, you may remember, was the arrogant Tory London Assembly Member who refused to publish his expenses even though all other AMs did. He was later forced to do a humiliating u-turn. Coleman also ran up huge taxi bills while belonging to a party that claims to be dedicated to cutting costs and offering more accountable political leadership.

He was also slammed for being a sexist buffoon and calling Libdem MP Lynne Featherstone a “dizzy airhead” even though she followed the correct procedure on her boiler.

No doubt this latest revelation will also be dismissed by Tories as a politically motivated attack. Brian Coleman may yet again try the Bart Simpson defence. Nevertheless, he will no doubt be glad that mayor Boris Johnson not only continues to support him but promote him within his administration.

I’m sure Ian Dale will get right on it, and write a full page article pointing out the shame of this sleazy Tory…………

Oh wait!

There’s no point even him trying to pretend he is anything other than a partisan cheerleader for a hypocritical administration. One that will be in power soon. Oh joy.

He is the mayor of Barnet Council not the leader.

No apostrophe in “its”.
