Here they show him ‘obstructing’ a police van and being uncooperative with police, while here the ever spiteful Amanda Platell questions his family’s grief, suggesting that his ex-wife isn’t really that upset and just wants her spot in the limelight. Tomlinson is also repeatedly referred to as a ‘homeless alcoholic’, lest we forget that, y’know, he might have been drunk and like sworn at the bobbies or something.

They also ran a story about how his brother died a year ago of a heart attack at exactly the same age, implying that it was just death by natural causes afterall. That article is no longer hosted on their website.

As for The Standard, they’ll always be the London Mail to me as long as they run rubbish like the ‘flying bricks’ story.
