Gaza demonstration tomorrow
The Palestinian Solidarity Campaign is hosting the demo tomorrow:

Assemble 12:30pm Along Embankment, by Embankment tube station, LONDON WC2
Nearest tube Embankment or Charing Cross
Details of demos across the country on this page.
Meanwhile, unsurprising to see Guido Fawkes happily asking for donations for the IDF, which has killed hundreds of civilians over the past week.
PS. If you’re thinking of bringing ‘We Are All Hamas Now‘ placards with you – don’t. Stay away. Don’t bother coming.

Have to miss this one I’m afraid, simply haven’t got the cash to travel to London. I’ll be there in spirit though.
Jesus those IDF men and women have really got their plate full now ….
I thought you lived in London? Anyway, I’m going to head down there… will take some pics
Fuck off Newmania. And no, I don’t.
Newmania: a legend in his own mind.
Ah Guido always the libertarian- incidentally someone should write an article on the way that the bloggertarians have dropped their opposition to the state in Gaza.
They’re doing their best to make sure that a Palestinian one never develops.
(On that note: http://www.scriboergosum.org.uk/revamp/2088 )
James: what happened to your surname?
Unfortunately the organisers *are* of the “we are all hamas now” persuasion.
I look forward to the photos – beautiful day today.
Sunny – just seen your comment on Harry’s Place.
I hope you *will* create your own “No to Hamas, No to IDF” placard!
You can be sure the organisers won’t be handing them out!!
Lovely , siding with the very people who are quite determined there will be no peace on the basis that Isareal should have sent s stiffly worded memo.Whats in the picnic ? showboat truffle ? Renta -mob rolls and a lovely bowl of self righteous broth?
Newmania @ 11,
‘Tis your very good self that requires a stifly worded communiqué.
I’d have thought that carrying a placard that said ‘No to Hamas, No to IDF’ was anything but choosing a side.
Though I wonder whether Sunny *did* carry that placard?
(photos please…!)
Guardian quote: “The crowd was a sea of Palestinian, Hamas and Hezbollah flags as well as the red standards of leftwing groups and placards denouncing the Israeli bombardment of Gaza.
Chants of “Stop, stop, Israel” and “Intifada now” rang out from the crowd, which was led by the veteran former Labour MP Tony Benn and leaders of British Muslim groups.”
Hamas, Hezbollah, Tony Benn — are there any other idiots that you want to despise?
Guardian quote: “The crowd was a sea of Palestinian, Hamas and Hezbollah flags as well as the red standards of leftwing groups and placards denouncing the Israeli bombardment of Gaza.
I didn’t see any Hamas or Hizballah flags, and I have plenty of pics that don’t show any either. The Guardian reporter must have filed the story from home.
the march was fine and I’m glad I went.
yeah i didnt see a single hamas or hizbullah flag either, no antisemitic chants, nothing of the sort.
sorry to disappoint steve m, marvin et al
“James: what happened to your surname?”
I decided that the Church of Scientology had probably lost interest in finding out my real one.
lol you didn’t give them your name whilst doing one of their “are you stressed” tests? they always bother people on tott court road, and if they ask me to do the test, i look at them as if i was extremely stressed, raise my voice, and exasperatedly yelp “dO i lOOk stREssEd?!?”
Yeah, that’s one of their “orgs”. Or two, possibly, it’s all quite confusing. I was involved in a lot of activism against them last year and at one point they had someone follow me home (or at least try, I lost him after about three minutes, just walking back and forth), but I’ve done nothing of that nature for a while now so I suspect they no longer care.
