DAILY BLOG REVIEW / by Aaron Heath

Robin Lustig/BBC – Chill out people! It’s just an economic downturn. Things were pretty dire in the seventies and eighties too. I think Robin has a point, but I’d mention that personal indebtedness is much more severe this time.

Eugene Robinson/WashPo – John McCain is “dangerously clueless” on the economy.

Chicken Yoghurt – There is no Sunday School for atheists, neither are they a gang.

Freemania – The credit crunch in layman’s terms.

Obsolete – The field looks perfect for the Lib Dems, so why aren’t they doing better?

Also, our Jennie, and James at Scribo Ergo Sum, have a disagreement on the relative strength of the Liberal Democrats.

Andy Worthington – Canadian citizen, Omar Khadr, spends yet another birthday in Guantánamo. He was just 15 when he was seized.
