Thanks for the link but it’s probably overstating it to say my few comments on Amis’s The Second Plane amount to a book review – just some quotes that set me thinking. I’m still pondering the contents and will probably review it properly later in the week.

That video is amusing more than anything else. I can’t imagine something like that in the Uk.

I couldn’t sit there and watch the whole thing through. I’m sure it’s scintillating thousands and millions of Americans, but it was just a bit too cheesy for me. :/
